Interactive Decision Labs · Four tools

Discover the Invisible Numbers.

Four independent scenario tools that reveal hidden trade-offs in return expectations, missed contributions, emergency cash and lifestyle inflation. Inputs remain in your browser.

01 · Expectations Decoder

What Growth Is Already Priced In?

Reverse-engineer the annual earnings growth needed for a target return when the valuation multiple changes. Explore how a lower exit P/E raises the growth hurdle.

Formula: required EPS = current price × (1 + target return)years ÷ assumed exit P/E. Implied earnings CAGR derives from current EPS. Excludes dividends, dilution, taxes and fees. Scenario mathematics, not a valuation opinion.

02 · SIP Detour Lab

What Does a Pause Really Cost?

Place a temporary SIP pause anywhere along a savings journey. See the missed contributions, their potential future growth and the extra monthly catch-up after resuming.

Each SIP is assumed to occur at month-end. The return is constant for illustration and converted to an effective monthly rate. A pause means contributions stop temporarily; existing investments remain invested. The catch-up amount is an additional SIP over all remaining months. No guarantee of returns.

03 · Cashflow Runway Map

How Long Could Your Emergency Cash Last?

Test a temporary income shock and a one-off expense against your liquid savings. See the time until your emergency buffer is exhausted and how much runway remains after the shock ends.

Model: monthly cash burn = max(essential spending − income during shock, 0). The one-time cost is paid immediately. The cash floor is a safety reserve, not a bank balance requirement. Excludes interest, tax, investment volatility and unexpected additional expenses; no account data is stored.

04 · Lifestyle Creep Mirror

Is Your Pay Raise Really Making You Wealthier?

Compare your future investable surplus if spending grows with inflation versus a lifestyle-upgrade habit. Small annual differences can compound into a surprisingly large wealth gap.

Model: take-home pay and expenses change annually, monthly surplus is assumed invested at month-end at a constant return. Negative monthly surplus is treated as a cash shortfall (not invested borrowing). Assumes raises are net of tax; does not predict pay, prices or market returns. Currency is nominal INR.

Use Results Thoughtfully

A Number Is a Starting Point.
Not a Recommendation.

Real outcomes can differ because returns, inflation, taxes, costs and personal circumstances change. Use several assumptions—not only the most optimistic one.

Use Assumptions Carefully

Know What Can
Change the Result.

Calculator outputs depend on the assumptions you enter. Use the Education Hub when you want to understand a term before applying it to a calculation.

Return Assumptions

Higher assumed returns can increase projected values sharply. Test a range rather than relying on one optimistic figure.

Inflation

Long-term goals should be viewed in terms of purchasing power as well as nominal rupee values.

Timing & Contributions

Contribution dates, step-ups, withdrawals and investment duration can materially change an outcome.
